何谓“运动”
运动这个词在中文中其实是两个意思:运动之为阴阳,运为阴,动为阳;阴阳结合方能受用其身。
锻炼身体的方法,我们称之为“运动”,包含以阳为主的体能训练和以阴为主的呼吸伸展修复训练。
只动不运,阳盛阴衰,犹如只投资却不经营,最终会造成资金外流,内部空虚;只运不动,阴盛阳衰,犹如专注经营却不注资,最终会打不开格局,遭遇瓶颈。只有运动相合阴阳和合,犹如在适度投资基础上用心经营,也许不会暴利,但久而久之,你将会收获到稳定的财富增长,也就是我们运动的最终目的:永葆身心健康,体形健美,活力青春。
The Meaning of Exercise
Exercise in Chinese contains two parts. One is “powerful movements” and “be muscular” which is the method that can boost your physical power. The other one is “gentle movements like breathing, meditating and stretching” which is the method to give your body and mind space and time to absorb and heal.
These two parts of exercise is just like Yin and Yang, they must be together and cannot be singled out. Only devote on strenuous power training is like we only invest money without management, while only focus on gentle stretching without proper power training is like we only manage the daily routine without new ideas and proper investment. The result cannot be good.
Only when we put those two parts together, like on the base of careful management, we do some investment. Maybe we cannot get extravagant profits immediately, eventually we will accomplish a steady profit increase, which is the aim of exercise: getting better and being healthy.
